Digitalisation in the healthcare sector is a significant challenge that requires a focus on the common good and international standards. EHDA e.V. is committed to creating a secure, citizen-centred ecosystem for the use of health data - based on European initiatives such as the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and Gaia-X.
As a member of the European Health Data Alliance e.V., you play an active role in shaping an open and trustworthy health data space.
• Strengthen data sovereignty and citizen centricity: Help build an ecosystem that creates trust and puts the needs of citizens at the centre.
• Help shape a European health data space: Support the development of projects that promote the secure, transparent and public interest-oriented handling of health data.

Who
can become a member?
Only legal entities can become members. They send a representative with voting rights. Natural persons can only be accepted as honorary members.

does a membership offer?
Membership offers the opportunity to play an active role in shaping an open and trustworthy European health data space. The exchange of knowledge and best practice helps everyone involved.
How
What does cooperation look like?
The EHDA e.V. sees itself as an active element in the EHDS and calls on its members to get involved thematically, e.g. in working groups, projects and initiatives.
